BenQ MK2442 23.6″ LCD TVBenQ has announced their upcoming 23.6-inch LCD TV that doubles as a standard PC monitor. This one would make a great secondary monitor. It features Senseye Human Vision Technology which enhances the color, clarity and contrast of video content. The MK2442 has a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, with a 5ms response time, brightness of 300 cd/2, 1000:1 contrast ratio and a built-in TV tuner.

It also sports two 5W speakers for decent sound. On the connectivity side, you get: D-Sub, S-Video, SCART, Composite, Component and HDMI 1.3.

When you have an Intel Atom powered UMPC with an 800MHz processor, you really don’t need much more. The BenQ S6 is compact, and powerful. It’s a Mobile Internet Device with 512MB memory and a 2GB SSD, featuring Bluetooth 2.0, Wi-Fi and HSDPA. It also sports a stylus-enabled 4.8inch WVGA touchscreen, built-in G-sensor, mini USB and microSD slot. It even comes with cool “free-surf” user interface. Great for the traveler who needs a powerful device. The BenQ S6 retails for $629.

BenQ DC X-835BenQ is coming to market soon with a stylish, slim new eight-megapixel digital camera. The new BenQ DC X-835 does not has yet have specific pricing or availability information.

The BenQ DC X-835 is fairly thin, measuring 12.5mm. In this camera is packed a Pentax 3x zoom lens, 2.5-inch display and a high sensitivity of up to ISO 6400 on movie mode and ISO 2000 in shooting mode. In movie mode you can also capture MPEG-4 movies in VGA 640 x 480 pixels (30fps).

BenQ SP820BenQ earlier this week unveiled a new digital projector with a high brightness which is reportedly easy to use. The new BenQ SP820 should be available this month.

The BenQ SP820, weighing in at 8.2 pounds, offers up a brightness of 4,000 ANSI lumens. This is coupled with 1024×768 resolution, a 2,000:1 contrast ratio and digital zoom. The compact design of this projector includes a built-in handle for portability, while a lamp door on the side allows for an easier time of changing out the lamp.

BenQ reveals slim T800 digital camera

BenQ T800BenQ today globally unveiled its slim T800 digital camera. This upgrade to the T700 is expected to be available in Latin America, Europe and Asia next month, with no as yet announced availability in the United States.

The BenQ T800 offers up an eight megapixel sensor with 3x optical zoom lens. On the backside of the camera is a three-inch LCD monitor with touchscreen capabilities so you can do things like write memos on your images. You can also do in-camera photo editing.

BenQ C30 phone puts media controls on top

BenQ C30 mobile phone has media controls on top of the frame for easy accessAlong with BenQ’s C840 camera announcement earlier today, the company has also unveiled the BenQ C30 mobile phone featuring dedicated media controls on the top edge of the device. According to BenQ, the placement of these controls are in a more convenient spot and make it easier to access when it’s in your pocket.

The buttons on top control music playback and two of them double to control the built-in FM radio and VGA digital camera. The C30 also contains a microSD card slot and stereo speakers so you can listen to your music without headphones.

This week BenQ announces an upgraded version of their C740i camera with the C840. The new model features a 2.5 inch LTPS screen with an 8MP resolution and 3X optical zoom. The camera allows for full control over the outcome of the image with its P/Av/Tv/M feature.

The C840 is equipped with a Pentax lens facilitating 99.8% light penetration making it the most light sensitive camera in its class. An emphasis on widescreen shooting and an optional 16:9 resolution ratio for HDTV display shows that BenQ is forward thinking with this camera. MJPEG videos are shot at a near DVD quality 720×400 resolution at 30 frames per second and are optionally stored in its 4GB internal storage or SDHC card, support for which is an upgrade from the C740i counterpart.

BenQ X720BenQ recently introduced the X720, a 7 megapixel digital camera with the world’s slimmest body measuring in at a slender 12.5 mm. The X720 features a smc Pentax lens, 3x optical zoom, 1/2.5 inch CCD image sensor and a bright 2.5 inch LCD display. Other functions include:

S.S.F (Super Shake-Free) system allows the user to record photographs and videos with brighter, more natural color.
Supports high light sensitivity of up to ISO 1200 and up to ISO 4000 in recording mode. This helps to facilitate shooting fast-moving objects or taking photos in poor lighting conditions.
