Belkin FlyWire makes home theater installs clean as a whistle |
If your home theater is anything like mine you have a HD satellite box, PS3, Wii, Xbox and a few other items all trying to connect to the two available HDMI ports and other connectors on my TV. Then there is the problem of all the wires, which my wife seems to complain about with far too much frequency.
Belkin has a device that will go on sale in late October that will take care of both these problems called the FlyWire. The FlyWire comes in two versions with the normal FlyWire coming in October and the FlyWire R1 coming in Q1 2009.

Having lots of HDMI-enabled devices can be great but if you only have one HDTV to show them on, switching cables can be a pain. A few companies have developed HDMI switching boxes to help remedy this problem and now Belkin is amongst them with its new HDMI 2-to-1 Video Switch, priced around $55.
Belkin is getting some new gaming hardware as it today unveiled the n52te, a hybrid gaming keyboard enhanced by Razer gaming software. The n52te is priced at around $70.
Belkin has begun selling through its Web site a new FM transmitter for broadcasting digital music on a radio. The TuneCast 3 is priced at around $50.
Belkin is getting ready to unleash upon wireless Internet users a smart looking router with an interactive display for giving you information on your network. The Belkin N1 Vision is priced at around $200 and will be out in late July.
