Alpine iXA-W407 Digital Media Station |
Alpine’s latest iXA-W407 Digital Media Station supports iPod/iPhone playback (Sorry CD users, it won’t do CDs anymore) and sports a large 7″ QVGA touchscreen display along with integrated Bluetooth connectivity and other features.
The iXA-W407 is available as an all-in-one audio/video/navigation system package that includes the NVE-M300 GPS Navigation Drive. This all-in-one AVN package from Alpine will cost you a cool $1100. You can also connect USB devices and MTP-based MP3 players using the USB input.

Today Alpine announced the launch of its first 2-DIN ScrollView touch control Digital Media Station, the Alpine iXA-W404R 2-DIN iPod Digital Media Station. The Alpine iXA-W404R is an iPod controller that offers the choice of control by using either the double-action rotary button or the 4.3-inch QVGA color touch-screen.
Alpine Electronics has always had a knack for developing interesting electronics for the automobile. Its newest in-car iPod controller, the eX-10, is certainly no exception. It’s priced at around $200.
Automotive electronics company Alpine said shipments of a new portable navigation device began. The Alpine Blackbird PMD-B200 is priced at around $750.
