Philips unveils the BDP7500 Blu-ray player |
If you’re in the market for a new Blu-ray player, Philips just unveiled its new Profile 2.0 Blu-ray player, the BDP7500. This player has good looks and some interesting features.
Features like 1080p 24fps Full HD images, with support for 7.1 lossless formats Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio, 1GB of internal storage for BD-Live content and it’s compatible with a variety of formats like DivX Ultra, H.264, VC-1, JPEG and MP3. It’ll cost you £249 (or $405).




I-O Data has unveiled their latest external Blu-ray burner, the BRP-US6. The BRP-US6 connects to your notebook via the USB 2.0 port and keeps things slim. Some specifics include 6x burning for BD-R SL, 2x for BD-R DL/BD-RE and 6x reading with BD-ROM discs.

Panasonic has announced that their DMP-B15 portable Blu-ray player will be shipping this month for $800. It was first seen at CES. Yeah, that’s pretty pricey for a portable Blu-Ray player, but if you want the best at the highest price and find yourself on the road, the DMP-B15 will give you about 2.5 hours of entertainment on a single, with a crystal clear 8.9-inch WSVGA display.

LG has released the world’s first DivX HD 1080p certified player, the BD390. The player debuted at CES earlier this year and is now making its way out to consumers. It features an 802.11n Wi-Fi module and support for DivX streaming from a DLNA server.
