USB optical liquid aquarium mouse

I’m not sure what the fascination with putting fish(fake or real) into strange devices lately is all about, but combining fish with gadgetry is getting a little out of hand. The other day I told you about the Fish In Space aquarium. Now I bring you the aquarium mouse, complete with fake fish.

Apparently, you can order a mouse aquarium with fish OR one with a little rubber ducky. I suppose if you really love fish and have a fish themed life, like sea-life wallpaper and a cabinet full of fish figurines, you might want to point and click with a liquid mouse.

Wii Gameblaster from dreamGear

Here’s the latest in Wii attachments(It’s like the Wii is a vacuum) from dreamGear. A wireless gun that is compatible with all Wii shooting games and first-person shooters. Basically what they have done here is combine the Wiimote and the Nunchuck controllers into a single device. Of course it can be used by either left handed or right handed players and will kill a large variety of bad guys.

It’s kinda cool looking in a vintage Sci-Fi movie way. Looks pretty comfortable too. The price is $34.99 each. It arrives just in time for Christmas.

Sony Music Stick means the force is with youIf you needed proof that Star Wars was way ahead of it’s time, here it is. This new Music Stick resembles a small lightsaber. It might even be the most lightsaber like product that is not actually a lightsaber. Of course, it may just be that the manufacturer wants to capture the hearts and minds of geeks everywhere. Either way, this is a slick looking mp3 player.

It features a 2GB or 4GB storage capacity, has a small display for track information, FM radio, voice recorder and a High speed USB 2.0 connection. The formats it supports for playback are MP3, OGG, WMA and WAV (PCM/ADPCM).

Sick Brick: The Dodge Tomahawk I

The Dodge Tomahawk I

The Dodge Tomahawk I bike literally looks like some sort of Sci-Fi rocket on wheels. It’s powered by a Dodge Viper V10 engine which produces 500bhp and 525 lb-ft torque. It also claims to be the world’s fasted motorcycle and can accelerate from 0-60mph in just 2.5-seconds, achieving 300mph top speed.

At that speed, colliding with bugs will likely put a hole in your face. The tires apparently had to be custom made by Dunlop. There are two Dunlop P120/60R-20 tires in the front and two P150/50R-20 in back. You can see a video of it after the jump.

USB Robot webcam: cute and functional

cute and functional

Personally I love all things robot. When I saw this little guy, I knew that my life was not yet complete somehow. He has a great, ultra-cute design and would definitely add some coolness to your computer area as well as making the life of a blog writer a little less lonely. I think he and I could be good friends.

He has 350k pixels, which means his maximum resolution is 640×480. The LED eyes actually illuminate at night, plus he has a microphone so you can speak to others while video-conferencing. The mic is an essential element here, after all I will be telling people how cool my little robot buddy is. So what if they get creeped out. It’s just me and my BFF robot.

NEC introduces e-mail/fax phone combo

Those of you still using Fax machines will love this. NEC introduced a new emailing/Fax/Phone combination unit. The new SP-NA640 model can take any document and send it straight to a computer or cellphone via email as a regular image file (send handwritten text from your home phone to a mobile phone). You can also print emails to your heart’s content. Of course it can still operate as a plain old fax machine if you have not yet joined us in the modern age.

It’s a nice looking unit. Cool upgrade to the old fax. The price is unknown at the moment, but they will be available in Japan later this month. So, if you happen to be in Japan, rush right out and get one to replace that aging Fax machine.

Book Of Lights: pop up book is a lamp

pop up book is a lamp

What kid doesn’t remember Pop-Up books? I just read one the other day despite my age. Regular books just don’t jump out at you or do anything, except try to teach you things. Who needs all that fancy book learnin’ anyway?

Well, Pop-Up books just grew up with the Book Of Lights. It’s a large, linen-bound hardcover book that opens up to reveal a pop-up, functioning lamp inside. You can get the book in red or grey. The lamp itself comes in 2 varieties, traditional lampshade or Parisian streetlamp design.

Wii Fishing Rod Advance attachment

Wii Fishing Rod Advance attachment

Even those who love the wii and own every attachment known to man will have to admit that the Wii fishing rod from Dragon may be taking things a bit too far. It attaches to the end of the Wiimote and even includes a telescoping rod with faux fishing line. If that wasn’t enough, they also saw fit to include a fake plastic fish to dangle from your fake fishing rod.

At $9.95 I guess it’s worth buying for the Wii lover who has to own everything, but be prepared to experience alot of laughter and ridicule from your loved ones. I would at the very least strongly advise you to ditch the fake fish and never speak of it again.

Samsung Z240 Vittorio & Lucchino designer phone

Samsung Z240 Vittorio & Lucchino designer phones

Samsung has decided to make their low end handsets fashionable, with some help from the Vittorio & Lucchino fashion house. They’ve taken the cheap and plain Samsung Z240 handset and made it a real beauty. It looks cool, but the fact that they did it without a significant price increase is a beautiful thing as well. Starting Dec. 01 , 2007 you’ll be able to pick-up a Samsung Z240 Vittorio & Lucchino handset for just 59 Euro. With an Orange Spain contract only, but still. It’s pretty.

It’s nice to see manufacturers offering more choices, other then plain black or silver, or any solid color for that matter. It not only will spice up your drab day a little, but it makes your gear stand out.

Hello Kitty is all about the money

Hello Kitty ATM Bank

Continuing the toy trend of products that teach our kids to be good little consumers, is this pink as usual Hello Kitty ATM bank. Proof that the Pink Nightmare (at least to us guys) known as Hello Kitty is alive and well and in no danger of facing extinction.

Don’t be confused. Yes, banks are supposed to help you save money. They probably shouldn’t teach you to blow it on Pink branded products. The bank comes with a “Hello Kitty cash card” so kids can practice the removal of money from an ATM.

Betta Aquarium: cruel to fish – cool to see

Fish In Space

Here is a very cool looking retro Sci-Fi style aquarium called Fish In Space. It’s also very small for the poor fish. The thing is only powered by 2 button cell batteries for goodness sake. How would you like to be the fish whose life depended on 2 button cell batteries? It has glow in the dark stars that look neat in the night time. The UFO on top beams some cool lighting into the aquarium too. I bet the fish wishes that it would abduct it’s sorry scales out of there.

Still isn’t it every intelligent civilization’s goal to put fish into outer space? Well, after seeing the picture, I think we can all be convinced that it should be right at the top of the list.

Concert on your desktop with Live Jam

With Live Jam, you can watch your little albino musicians(Who kind of resemble the Pillsbury Doughboy, but more fit) play individually or you can put them together to give performances that will rock your world as they interact with each other.

Each musician can connect with other Live Jam musicians to form a band. Apparently, they have some unseen roadies too, because they have multicolored LED stage lighting that sets the mood. They come in your choice of Drummer, Guitarist and Keyboard player.
