Loewe Individual 3D TV is customizable

Posted in 3D by Conner Flynn on July 4th, 2011

The Loewe “Individual 3D” TV is all about customization. You can choose the color of the TV’s insets for instance. There is metallised chrome, neon pink, ebony, blue, and more to choose from. You can also choose how to integrate the TV into your room, if you want to put it on the wall, on a screen lift, or on one of Loewe’s racks.

It also has nice specs like being a 3D TV that will work with Loewe Active 3D glasses, and it will convert 2D content into 3D. There is also a built-in DVR with a 500GB capacity, an LED display, and a Loewe Subwoofer and Sound Projector for 7.1 sound from a single speaker.

LG RoboKing vacuum

Posted in LG by Conner Flynn on July 4th, 2011

The Roomba is pretty cool as far as robo-vacuums go, but you can’t exactly have a conversation with it. What kind of vacuum bot doesn’t even talk? LG’s latest self-diagnosing robotized cleaning assistant seems much cooler. The RoboKing VR6172LVM will cost 779,000 Won ($730), and has a low noise 48dB design.

It can run diagnostics at the press of a button and then tell you if any components are broken. But it won’t help you fix it. Oh well, it’s still progress.

The P8 comes in 8GB and 16GB sizes, sports a microSD slot, and an HDMI port for pushing HD content to a TV. We have no idea if it will ever land on American shores or how much it will cost when it does, but we like what we see.

Play World of Warcraft for free up to level 20

Posted in Games by Conner Flynn on June 29th, 2011

If you haven’t been bit by the WOW bug yet, Blizzard is hoping to entice you by allowing you to play unrestricted up to level 20 before the game starts asking for money. At that point you can choose to ditch your character and all that hard work, or pay $20 for the full game along with the Burning Crusade expansion which ups your level cap to 70 and opens Outlands, and the Blood Elf and Draenei races.

Also, the Burning Crusade expansion is completely free to everyone who has the game and hasn’t already bought it. Seems like a good time to get into WOW.
