We know that you can’t wait for the Nintendo 3DS. Good news Nintendo fans. You can now pre-order the device on Amazon. It won’t be long until you are playing 3D games without glasses and connecting to other 3DS gamers online.

It will be launched in Europe on March 25 and the US on March 27. 30 games will be available at launch. You can buy it on Amazon at $249.99, but they are limiting the order to one console per household until the launch date.

Thanks to a South Korean website, we have some new info on the Samsung Galaxy S successor. The Galaxy S2 is expected to feature a dual-core CPU and an 8 megapixel camera with 1080p FullHD video recording.

The Galaxy S2 will operate on Android 2.3 Gingerbread and will be based on Samsung’s custom dual-core Orion SoC. The platform uses two ARM Cortex A9 cores both running at 1GHz. Other features of this next-gen Galaxy include a 4.3″ WVGA screen with Super AMOLED plus technology, NFC integration and the whole thing is just 9mm thick.

HTC’s entrance into the tablet market might be the HTC Flyer, which should ship this March in the US with Android 2.3 Gingerbread as the operating system. The HTC Flyer will have its OS updated to Android 3.0 Honeycomb as soon as it becomes available.

It will be sold in the US via an unknown carrier. Probably not AT&T and Verizon since they are preparing to roll out the Motorola Xoom, and T-Mobile has announced the LG G-Slate. Sprint has the WiMax BlackBerry PlayBook. The tablet wars just keep amping up.

Amazon has announced that it has some spare change and has agreed to buy up all the remaining shares of Lovefilm that it didn’t already own. The British company is a subscription-based movie rental and streaming service for the UK, Germany, Denmark, Sweden and Norway.

Looks like Amazon might have the final piece in place to battle Netflix. The acquisition is expected to be complete by the end of Q1 of this year.

Reaching two million downloads in a year is quite a feat when you are talking about apps from a TV maker and it’s the largest number we’ve seen from a TV maker as well. Today Samsung’s app store is available in over 120 countries and features roughly 380 applications, 259 of which are totally free.

It also helps that they have already sold tons of Smart TVs and plan to ship 12 million more in 2011 alone. Samsung definitely has a good thing going here.

Do you like the idea of paying for things by using your phone? What about coffee? Well, Starbucks has announced that its mobile payment test has concluded and that the service is now available in all stores around the country.

This means that you can now pay for your coffee if you use the iPhone or a Blackberry, using the official Starbucks App. The app can be funded using either your credit card or PayPal. Once your jittery coffee fueled hands get money in your app account, all you need to do is place your order and then hold your device with the barcode on the screen under the scanner at the counter. Pretty convenient no?

Samsung has just launched the ST6500 which has a slightly squished look. That’s because it is designed to be curved around the lens and angled at 7 degrees so that it fits more comfortably in your hands. That’s something we can all appreciate. The ST6500 packs a 16 megapixel sensor, 5X optical zoom, a Samsung Lens f = f4.7~23.5mm and a 3″ multi-purpose LCD touchscreen.

The camera supports 720p HD video recording and has some in-built tools to help with your photographs and do some minor touchups on the go. The ST6500 will cost $229 when it becomes available in March.

The Microsoft online store is now taking pre-orders for ASUS’ Windows-based tablet, the Eee Slate EP121. The tablet is selling for $1,099 and if you have the scratch, it will start shipping on January 24th. The Eee Slate EP121 sports a 12.1-inch capacitive multitouch display, a 1.33GHz Intel Core i5-U470 processor, and 4GB of RAM.

Some other features include 32GB or 64GB of storage, a card reader, a 2.0-megapixel webcam, WiFi, Bluetooth, a mini-HDMI port and comes pre-loaded with Windows 7 Home Premium.

Need a little more storage space in your microSDHC card? Well, Silicon Power has unveiled their newest powerful bit of silicone, a 32GB microSDHC card which comes with Class 4 Speed specification.

This tiny card can store up to 9,000 photos, 6,000 songs or 500 minutes of HD video, and will give you transfer speeds of at least 4MB/s. Unfortunately, there’s no word on pricing right now. Hopefully we will know soon.

eGANG Corporation has released the W3 IGM-7000 Audio Mouse. The device comes with a built-in stereo speaker and a microphone. It also offers 1000dpi tracking, a 2-channel stereo speaker and a microphone that can be used for listening to music and making VoIP calls.

It’s basically an all in one mouse. Well, not all, but the eGANG W3 IGM-7000 Audio Mouse does more than yours does. It is also ergonomically designed and has browsing control and volume control buttons.

Last year Yahoo started using Bing to power its search engine and this year they have announced that they will be accepting Google and Facebook account logins via the OpenID authentication protocol. Yahoo! says that this will make it easier for users to access their services without the need to sign up.

The new OpenID authentication system starts tomorrow. I wonder if we will see much more of Yahoo, since this doesn’t look good for them. They wish that others would be accepting their logins instead.

Last we heard, the new Nokia E7 would be delayed until 2011. And sure enough it is now 2011 and now it looks like the Nokia E7 is finally available to pre-order. In Finland. The Nokia E7 will start shipping in Finland in February.

There are no details on when it will be available in the rest of Europe and the US. The device comes with a 4 inch touchscreen display, a full slide out QWERTY keyboard and runs Symbian 3. It also sports an eight megapixel camera that can record HD video in 720p, and a battery that will give users up to 18 days of standby time and 9 hours of talk time.

An Activision support representative has suggested that Activision may be considering or has considered the possibility of closing PS3 Black Ops servers due to problems reported by players. If you play Black Ops on the PS3, then you know those problems very well.

A refund petition was started last year and had 8,800 signatures after 5 weeks. Players are complaining of frame rate issues, disconnects, lagging and hard freezes and other problems. I don’t know about you, but I play all the time and while there are problems, I spend 99% of my time just playing and enjoying flawless games.
