Paper airplane with an electric motor

Posted in Toys by Reuben Drake on July 27th, 2011

The Electric Paper Airplane Conversion Kit will turn your paper airplane into a real airplane. Tiny, but real, as in engine powered. The kit includes a tiny propeller powered by a tiny electric motor. Just add it to any standard paper airplane. The propeller sits at the rear and pushes the plane.

Awesome. It works because the motor is powered by a capacitor that holds just enough juice for 90 seconds of flight. A separate battery pack charges up the capacitor in about 20 seconds. I wonder how much further you could get your plane to go now.
