Tokyoflash Right Angle LCD Watch Concept

Tokyoflash has yet another neat concept watch in the Right Angle LCD watch. It takes some outside of the box thinking to tell the time with this one as usual. Just flick your wrist to change the angle and reading the numbers will become clear.

The time is shown digitally with Hours-Minutes-Seconds-Milliseconds, but the layout of the numbers on the display is stretched so it distorts the image. Pretty neat and we are sure this one will go into production at some point.

Turtle Beach limited edition Modern Warfare 3 headsets

The headset above is one of four limited edition offerings from Turtle Beach and Activision. The headsets all have the same design style, but offer different specialties. There is the $300 Ear Force Delta which is based on the XP500 programmable virtual 7.1 headset and comes with a custom travel-case and MW3 sound presets.

Then there is the $150 Ear Force Bravo, which is a version of the PX3. It has the same presets as the Delta in wireless stereo. Next is the $130 Ear Force Charlie with discrete 5.1 and eight drivers. Lastly is the $100 Ear Force Foxtrot; a PX21 universal stereo headset. So you have your choice soldiers.

Google Page URL Shortener Launches

Google has launched its new Google page shortener which will of course work with all Google services. The new g.co shortening service follows the launch of Google’s public URL shortener back in 2009 goo.gl.

They would like you to use it for all your url shortening needs. Google says “Whenever you see a short “g.co” link, you can trust that it will always take you to a Google product or service. We also have a public URL shortener at goo.gl. You can use this to shorten up URLs across the web.”

New Samsung Galaxy Tab 7 To Have 1280 x 800 Display?

Last month we heard that Samsung was working on a new version of the original Galaxy Tab, and now we have word that this new Galaxy Tab might have a 7 inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels.

Netbook News is saying that the new 7 inch Galaxy Tab will come with Android Honeycomb, in addition to that higher resolution display with a 1280 x 800 resolution. Other rumored specs include a dual core 1.2GHz processor, plus 1GB of RAM. We should know more soon as Samsung gears up for release.

Sony DRX-S90U Portable DVD Burner Now Available In The U.S.

Sony Optiarc America has announced the DRX-S90U dual USB bus-powered external DVD burner for the U.S. It can burn dual-layer DVD+R at 8x speeds, regular DVD+R and RW media at 6x and CD-R and RW at 24x speeds.

Just be aware that it requires two USB 2.0 ports to power the burning speeds. The device is compatible with both Windows (XP or higher) and Mac operating systems. You also get the Nero 10 CD/DVD burning application with your purchase. The Sony DRX-S90U slim portable DVD/CD writer is $69.99.

Procella P15 Long-throw 15-inch Subwoofer

Procella Audio has launched the P15 long-throw 15-inch subwoofer for your large home cinemas, commercial cinemas and larger rooms in general which are up to 3,000 cubic feet. This active subwoofer features dual 15-inch drivers, individually powered by 350-watt amplifiers and 28bit/56 bit ADI Sigma DSP controls.

The device produces a frequency response below 22Hz with a maximum output of 125dB at 50Hz. So how much to bring it home? The new Procella P15 long-throw 15-inch subwoofer is a hefty $6,000.

OnStar FMV available at Best Buy July 24th

The OnStar FMV will allow you to put the technology in any automobile. Some of the features include automatic crash response, turn-by-turn navigation and hands-free calling. It will sell for $299.99 and you can tack on a $75 installation charge and $18.95 per month subscription.

The device will hit Best Buy shelves starting July 24th and is available for pre-order now. Before you get one just make sure that your car is on the compatible list first.

Acer reveals Aspire 5755 multimedia laptop

Acer’s latest laptop, the Aspire 5755, is for multimedia lovers who are on the go. It features Intel Core chips (with the i7-2820QM available in the premium configurations), and Nvidia GeForce GT 540M graphics with Nvidia’s Optimus tech.

Other features include 8GB of DDR3 memory, as much as 1TB of storage, and a 15.6 inch Acer CineCrystal LED-backlit TFT LCD screen with a maximum resolution of 1366×768. There’s also built Intel Wireless Display (WiDi) tech and an HDMI-output option.

CNN now streaming 24 hours of news online and on your iPhone

News Junkies will love this news. CNN is finally returning to streaming and is offering live feeds of CNN and HLN, online and through iOS apps. Sounds great right?

It does, but you’ll need to have a pay TV subscription through AT&T, Comcast, Cox, DISH Network, Suddenlink or Verizon to access those streams. Nothing for Android users right now however, but we imagine they will take care of that soon.

Motorola Titanium coming to Sprint July 24th

The Motorola Titanium was officially announced by Sprint back in May. Of course no pricing or availability dates were known at that time, but as always the info comes in it’s own good time. That time is now. Sprint has announced that the 810G military-spec Eclair smartphone will hit store shelves on July 24th.

The price is $150 after a $100 mail-in rebate. This is a good one for folks who are rather tough on their phones, while others might want to put their money elsewhere and go with something else.

Droid 3 torn apart by iFixit

If you are in love with the Droid 3, you may want to cover your eyes. The Droid 3 has now officially gotten it’s own teardown thanks to the folks at iFixit. As you know they love a good gadget autopsy and are not afraid to show you all of the gory details.

Logitech Wireless Keyboard Touch K400

Logitech is set to release it’s latest compact wireless keyboard, the Touch K400. This good looking keyboard is powered by 2 AA batteries and features a 2.4GHz radio frequency that will let it work from up to 10 meters.

Other features include a built-in 3.5-inch touchpad, left/right mouse buttons, a tiny USB receiver that can be stowed away on the back of the body and it supports Windows 7, Vista and XP. The Logitech Wireless Keyboard Touch K400 will go on sale on July 29th for 4,480 Yen (or about $57).
