HTC sales up almost 88-percent from last year

HTC has moved into the number five slot on IDC’s list of the top handset makers, beating RIM and behind Apple, but the company has also had its share prices drop 19-percent since June 7th. They rebounded a bit after the company’s sales for June were 87.8-percent higher than the same time last year.

And interestingly that’s a drop from May’s figures which were 116-percent higher than the same month last year. Not bad, but analysts think they have more work to do.
