Posted in Tablet PC by Conner Flynn on July 5th, 2011

For awhile there it looked like the MediaPad would be the first 7″ Honeycomb tablet to be released later this year, but now Acer and ViewSonic both have their own tablets on the way: the Acer Iconia Tab A100 and the ViewSonic 7x. We now know that the 7x will arrive in mid-August, while the A100 is unknown.

Some specs include a 7-inch 1024 x 600 display with Gorilla Glass, Android 3.1, Nvidia Tegra 2 chip, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of flash storage, 2MP front / 5MP front (+flash) cameras, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, 1600mAh battery, micro USB 2.0, microSD card slot, mini HDMI, and GPS / A-GPS.
