i’mWatch Android-powered Watch

Posted in Android by Conner Flynn on June 5th, 2011

The i’mWatch from Blue Sky Italy is the world’s first Android-powered watch. Because let’s face it, your watch needs apps too right? It is powered by a Freescale ARM9 IMX233 CPU with 64MB of RAM, 4GB of storage and a 1.54-inch TFT touchscreen display.

The 600mAh battery will deliver 2 hours of talk time or 48 hours of standby time. The i’mWatch can also be paired up with your iPhone, BlackBerry or Android phone. The i’mWatch Android-powered watch retails for €249 (or $360). Want one?

    “Want one?”

No, and not because it costs $360, I just hate wearing watches and very happy that my phone has the question “what time is it?” covered.
