Budweiser Nun Chucks

Posted in Weapons by Conner Flynn on May 22nd, 2011

Let’s say you want go all Bruce Lee on someone, but in a redneck sort of way. Well, for that occasion, look no further than these Budweiser Nun Chucks. They are the creation of Kai Tsien-Williams and Chen Chen. To make the beat down of some poor guy even worse, these Budweiser cans are actually filled with cement. Which is kind of appropriate since that’s where he will end up.

They are for sale right now, we just aren’t sure where. Maybe that’s a good thing. I don’t think we need many of these in the world. Although they seem easy enough to make.

Posted in Speakers by Conner Flynn on May 22nd, 2011

The UltraLink UFi UCube USB Speaker looks like an intercom or something from an old Sci-Fi movie. No wonder we like it. It comes from Ultralink/XLO Products and this portable speaker uses a DSP-controlled power supply, allowing the special Balanced Mode Radiator (BMR) driver to pump out 15 Watts of peak power with a 170-degree listening angle.

Not bad right? That aluminum stand puts the speaker at just the right angle for your listening enjoyment. The UltraLink UFi UCube USB speaker will set you back $149.99.

The PSN is finally back up and we’ve been playing our butts off, messaging and just celebrating in general. And now Hyperkin has unveiled their Remotext for PS3 which is a remote, a controller and a keypad. There’s a slide-out Blu-ray remote panel, QWERTY keypad and two analog nubs with and gaming controls.

It doesn’t look like there are rear triggers though, and no Bluetooth connectivity, but it does come with a wireless USB receiver and rechargeable battery. Maybe not great for serious gaming, but it will do for those who watch a bunch of movies. The Remotext will be shown off at E3. Nothing on pricing or availability yet.
