Motorola Droid X2 now official

Motorola and Verizon have been teasing us for a while now with the handset and now they have decided to make the Droid X2 official. The 4.3-inch Android 2.2 phone will be upgraded to 2.3 and also features a qHD screen resolution and a dual-core 1GHz processor. The 8 megapixel camera has continuous autofocus and HD video recording in back as well. Every bit of it now official.

The X2 will cost you $200 on contract and will be available to buy online…drum roll please… tomorrow. It will hit stores a week later, on May 26th. Judging by the close proximity of the USB and HDMI ports on the side of the new X2, we wonder if there is a laptop and multimedia dock in it’s future.
