Æsir, the $61,000 Phone

Posted in Mobile Phones by Conner Flynn on May 3rd, 2011

The Æsir is just about making calls and sending texts. It has an interesting Scandinavian design and is named after the ‘Norse gods’. The CEO of the company calls it ‘an anti-smartphone’. It also has an anti-smart price at £6,400.

The phone took three years to make, and offers ‘watch-grade material’ crafted by European craftsmen. It also has custom created ring tones. The regular model will cost you £6,400($10,560), while a gold-plated version is £37,000($61,000).
