He laid his monster on a table one dark and stormy night, opened a solar powered garden lamp and used the photovoltaic cells on the GameBoy.

The storm subsided and the clouds parted. This was followed by shouts of “It’s alive!” The GameBoy now soaks up the sun’s rays and stays on forever, without running out of energy, as long as the sun shines. It uses two AA rechargeable batteries that store all the energy it gets from the sun.
