AT&T Announces LG Thrive Pre-Pay Android Phone

AT&T and LG have teamed up for a new Android smartphone, the LG Thrive, which will be available on AT&T’s GoPhone pre paid service. It’s based on the LG Optimus One and features a 3.2 inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 320 x 480 pixels, Android 2.2. Froyo and has a 3.2 megapixel camera with built in autofocus.

You can expect the LG Thrive to be available from AT&T on April 17th. It will retail for $179.99 and customers will have to sign up to one of AT&T’s pre-paid smartphone plans, which should thrive very nicely from all the sign ups.
