PlayStation Games now available in Android Market

Posted in Sony Ericsson by Conner Flynn on March 31st, 2011

Even before the release of Sony Ericsson’s Xperia PLAY smartphone, Sony PlayStation games are now appearing in Google’s Android Market. So you have the games now and are just waiting for the phone. Five title’s are available in the Market so far, added today. They include Syphon Filter, MediEvil and Cool Boarders 2.

The available titles are $6.38 each, with more expected to arrive over the next few weeks. Sony Ericsson’s Xperia PLAY is the first PlayStation Certified Android smartphone and of course it will be capable of playing original PlayStation games downloaded through the Android Market. That’s one of the reasons we can’t wait for the smartphone. The Xperia PLAY is expected on Verizon Wireless’ network in the U.S. this spring. Are you willing to pay $6 for games as old as these though?
