Solaris V1 Solar-powered LED watch

Posted in Watches by Conner Flynn on January 13th, 2011

Everybody wants to be green these days, so cell batteries are a dying breed. More watches are being powered by the sun. And now a French designer has come up with an elegant solar watch design that features the solar panel right in the middle of the watch. It looks great.

The time is displayed by LEDs, with the hours on the outside in blue, while five-minute groups are shown in purple. Single minutes are displayed on the cross bars in the center.
