Hannspree HSG1164 10.1-inch Froyo tablet visits the FCC

Posted in Tablet PC by Conner Flynn on December 16th, 2010

Another day, another tablet. It was a few months ago that Hannspree teased us with an unnamed 10.1-inch multitouch Froyo tablet, and now the device has hit the FCC and has a name. The 1.6-pound HSG1164 will offer a 1GHz Tegra 2 chip, 16GB of internal storage, and 512MB of NAND Flash.

Other specs include a microSD slot, Android 2.2, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, mini USB / HDMI connector, a built in light sensor, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR and a Li-ion battery of unknown size. There’s no ship date mentioned, but we’re guessing it will have an early 2011 release.
