Creative has filed for FCC approval for the Zen Touch 2 media player. They needed the certification due to the 802.11n WiFi and Bluetooth 2.1 wireless capabilities of the Android-based device. Other specs include a resistive touchscreen and Android 2.1. The filing confirms that there will be two versions of the player, one with GPS and one without.
Creative hasn’t unveiled any pricing for the US market for the Touch 2 yet, but in the UK, the 8GB version retails for £150 ($231), while the 16GB version retails for £160 ($246).
