Acer introduces 7 inch and 10 inch Android tablets

Posted in Acer by Conner Flynn on November 23rd, 2010

Acer, like everyone else, is getting into the tablet game. The flagship 10.1 incher features a dual-core 1GHz processor, an HDMI output and a native 1280×800 screen resolution. There’s also a 5 megapixel rear camera, an “HD” front-facing camera for video calling and full multitouch support. No info on price, but it has an April 2011 ship date.

The 7-inch tablet features the same screen resolution, a dual-core 1.2GHz Qualcomm CPU and the same Flash 10.1 support. The “Android Tablet OS” Acer appears to be Froyo, or Android 2.2. This one is also coming in April of next year.
