Samsung announces two new Full HD Monitors

Samsung has just added two new Full HD monitors to its lineup with the 22-inch SyncMaster 2243DW and 24-inch SyncMaster 2443DW, both for the European market. These are aimed at business users and both are widescreen, delivering a 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution.

Other features include a 50,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio on the 2243DW and a 70,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio on the 2443DW, 300 cd/m2 brightness and 5ms response time. They are also compliant with TCO 5.0 standard and have D-Sub, DVI and DisplayPort connectors.

Pioneer Computers DreamBook ePad P10

Pioneer Computers of Australia is outing their latest Android tablet called the DreamBook ePad P10. The device is based on the NVIDIA Tegra 2 platform and features a 10.1-inch 1024 x 600 multi-touch display and up to a 1GHz SMP Dual Core Cortex-A9 processor.

Other features include 512MB RAM, 512MB ROM, a microSD card slot (up to 32GB), a SIM card slot, a 1.3-megapixel camera, optional 3G and GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth, an HDMI port, a 3300mAh battery and Android 2.2 is running the show.

Sexy Star Wars R2D2 and Vader swim suits

Now that is exactly the droid I’ve been looking for. These Star Wars Swim Suits were designed by a fan from Brisbane, Australia. The R2D2 version will make your inner geek happy and have you loving the droid in a whole new way.

The Lord Vader version is called the Darkside and is basically just a mash-up of Vader and the Dark Side of the Moon art. Both are priced at $85 on Black Milk.com.

iHome iA100 iPad Stereo Speaker System

There are many docks, but not too many iPad-friendly home stereo systems, so iHome has introduced its iA100 Bluetooth Stereo System, which is available for $199.

This docking station/stereo system offers Bongiovi Acoustics’ DPS technology, a built-in alarm clock, Bluetooth, and is compatible with the iPad, iPhone, and iPod via a 30-pin Dock Connector. It will basically turn your iPad into a fancy desktop alarm clock, which is no doubt exactly why you bought it.

Verizon to sell Galaxy Tab on November 11 for $600

That title is crazy right? The iPad 3G starts at just $629 and the iPad Wi-Fi is only $630 in Verizon’s own stores when bundled with a MiFi, after all. We’ve learned that Verizon is actually planning to sell Samsung’s Galaxy Tab for $599.99. Crazy!

Are they serious? Apparently so. And there looks to be zero subsidization available. The Android 2.2-based unit, loaded down with V CAST apps, will hit retail on November 11th. A data plan starting at $20 per month for 1GB is optional.

Canon introduces PRea AT-100 Windows Mobile HandyTerminal

Aimed at professionals and available in two different versions with Windows Mobile 6.5.3 Professional (AT-100P) and Windows Embedded CE 6.0 R3 (AT-100), the PREa is Canon’s new HandyTerminal.

Both models have the same basic hardware with an OMAP3505 CPU @ 600MHz, 256MB of DDR-SDRAM and 256MB of Flash Disk, a microSD slot, a 3.5” QVGA screen, IrDA 1.2 SIR, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, Wi-Fi ABG and a rugged body that can handle a 1.5m fall on hard concrete and it’s IP54 compliant, (Which means that it is protected against dust and against water sprayed from all directions).

Pandora now available on TiVo Series3 and TiVo HD boxes

Tivo has just announced that the Tivo Series 3 and Tivo HD will have access to the Pandora music service. Until now Pandora has only been available on Tivo Premiere boxes. So now you can create personalized Internet radio stations with Tivo’s high end boxes as well.

We all know how it works. You just tell Pandora which music you like and the service will learn your musical tastes and find new content that you will also like. Tivo works the same way as it can recommend similar content based on shows you watch.

Vertu Constellation Quest shows up at the FCC

Vertu’s QWERTY keyboard Constellation Quest has just gotten a thumbs up from the FCC. There are the usual pictures, but there’s also a detailed manual that shows the phone to be running a heavily skinned version of Symbian.

Some other specs include HSDPA data and WiFi, and Vertu is even packing it with a 32GB microSD card. We don’t have all of the details however, like when it will hit stores and how outrageously priced it will be. But at least luxury handset enthusiasts have something new to swoon over.

HueTV Series is colorful, has built-in Blu-ray Players and DVRs

Something unusual is afoot in the TV market. BPO has just announced a series of LED TV’s called the HueTV. The one that stands out from the new collection is the HueTV LX series, which packs in a built-in DVR running on a 32GB Flash drive, along with a built-in Blu-ray player.

The TV also comes in your choice of 8 colors: red, yellow, blue, navy, sliver, yellow, black, burgundy and forest green. That’s right, these new sets are loud with color. You also get a touchscreen remote. The 1080p TVs include screen sizes 32″,42″, 47″ , and 55″ and feature PC Inputs, USB Ports, a Media Card Slot, HDMI Inputs, DVI Inputs, S-Video Inputs, and Component Video Inputs.

Even walls and carpets.

Dell Inspiron 15R Alloy Edition Notebook

Dell has unveiled the Inspiron 15R Alloy Edition. It is named for the silver wave pattern on the lid that looks like metal. The machine features a 15.6-inch screen with a resolution of 1366 x 768 and it is LED backlit.

It comes with a bunch of processor options for Core i3, i5, and i7 CPUs and can be fitted with up to 8GB of RAM with Core i3 and i5 machines at 1066MHz and Core i7 machines getting 1333MHz RAM. Standard
graphics are Intel HD and the machine has an ATI HD 5650 GPU as an option with 1GB of RAM. Storage goes up to 750GB with 5400rpm and 7200rpm versions available.

ADATA announces NBA Player USB 2.0 Flash Drives

ADATA has announced their new series of NBA player USB flash drives, all of which are officially licensed by the National Basketball Association. Now you can store data within your favorite NBA players and display them proudly when not in use. They are all without heads of course.

The A-Data NBA 2010 flash drives will be available through selected distributors and resellers, but only in the United States. Sorry to the rest of the world. No info on pricing or availability yet though.

Acer releases three new eMachines Desktops

Acer is releasing three new eMachines desktop computers, the EL1352-A22C, the EL1850-A22C/T, and the EL1850-A22C/TF. The Acer EL1352 series features a dual-core AMD Athlon II X2 220 processor, 2GB of RAM, and a 320GB hard drive.

The EL1850 series sports an Intel Pentium processor, an 18.5-inch anti-glare LCD, and comes with Microsoft Office Personal 2010. The Acer EL1352-A22C will be available on October 20th, while the Acer EL1850-A22C/T and EL1850-A22C/TF will be launched on October 27th.
