Verizon LG Vortex spotted with Android 2.2 and Microsoft Bing

Posted in Verizon by Conner Flynn on September 23rd, 2010

While HTC’s Android-powered smartphones come with a bunch of apps from Google, Verizon Wireless’ LG Vortex is taking a different approach. It will go with Microsoft instead. Similar to the Samsung Fascinate, the LG Vortex will ship with Microsoft Bing as the search engine, along with Bing Maps to help you navigate.

Android 2.2 runs on a 600MHz processor, accompanied by an integrated FM radio. Does this chance your mind about wanting the Vortex, or are you cool with Bing?
