Until now, T-Mobile hasn’t named its official price tag and launch date for the G2, however Best Buy has published its own version. Best Buy and Best Buy Mobile are taking pre-orders for the phone today, and will launch the device in stores on October 6th for $199 with a two year contract.

That doesn’t mean that there won’t be a higher price or some rebate deal from T-Mobile, but it’s comforting to know that this QWERTY slider running Android, will retail for the industry standard $199 at least at one place.
