Netflix CEO looking into streaming-only option for US

Posted in Netflix by Conner Flynn on September 23rd, 2010

Netflix CEO Reed Hastings, in a blog post says, “we are looking at adding a streaming-only option for the USA over the coming months.” That’s an interesting idea, but sadly he didn’t elaborate. No prices were discussed.

However, it would likely parallel Canada’s streaming-only plan, which is $7.99 monthly. So who wants to drop physical media in exchange for that price or at least one extra dollar per month?

I don’t mind. You?
