Garmin Edge 800 for cyclists

Posted in GPS by Conner Flynn on August 26th, 2010

GPS navigation systems aren’t just for drivers anymore. The Garmin Edge 800 is for cyclists who need accurate information in the simplest way possible. It merges the most popular aspects of the Edge 500 and Edge 705 along with an updated intuitive touchscreen interface.

New mapping options include Garmin’s BaseCamp route planning and BirdsEye Satellite Imagery and the Edge 800 is smart enough to track all performance data, so you can view it over a 2.6” display while keeping track of speed, distance, time, GPS position, elevation, calories burned, climb and descent.
