Toshiba is making a 3D upgrade kit available for its range of Blu-ray recorders, in the wake of it’s Regza line of 3D HDTVs. All of their new Blu-ray recorders will pack a hard drive inside, while the flagship RD-X10 will feature 2TB of storage space, letting you play 3D movies right out of the box. It will arrive in Japan this September for $2,500.
There will also be three more models which take advantage of the 3D upgrade kit, but so far there is no word on pricing. The company is going pretty heavy on 3D obviously.
