Pioneer unveils Web-enabled Blu-ray Players

Posted in Pioneer by Conner Flynn on July 16th, 2010

Pioneer has loaded its Blu-ray players with some pretty nice features, especially the BDP-330 and BDP-LX53 players. These players can play YouTube videos and RSS feeds, since they are internet connected thanks to the onboard Ethernet port, or optional Wi-Fi USB dongle.

These players can also decode high-resolution Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio surround sound and are BD-Live-ready. They support the iControlAV app, which lets your iPhone and iPod touch control them.

The Pioneer BDP-330 and BDP-LX53 will cost $289 and the SGD549 $398 when they are launched in Singapore.
