LG Optimus Z smartphone hits South Korea

LG’s latest smartphone to hit South Korea is the Optimus Z. It will be available from local carriers SK Telecom and KT. The device runs Android 2.1 with the option to upgrade it to 2.2 before 2011. Performance should not be a problem thanks to its 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor.

Each purchase also gets you a couple of 1,350mAh batteries so you can keep your phone juiced while traveling. The body measures just 11.05mm thin. The Optimus Z is definitely sexy in matte-finish metal as well.

Nothing on pricing yet, but we are intrigued.
