BlackBerry 6: Multimedia Experience

Posted in BlackBerry by Conner Flynn on July 22nd, 2010

RIM has now shared some additional screenshots of the improved multimedia capabilities of BlackBerry OS 6, giving us a taste of what we can expect when the OS arrives. Users can get album art from iTunes and other locations if they sync with BlackBerry Media Sync, and you can navigate tracks with a carousel interface in landscape mode, just like Apple’s Cover Flow.

Multi-touch pinch-to-zoom will be available on touchscreen BlackBerry devices, and you can capture photos with the new onscreen controls. You can also sync photos and videos to and from your smartphones.
