Asus to use Android on the Eee Pad

Many manufacturers have decided to use Google’s Android OS on tablets instead of Windows 7. Asus is yet another. It has decided to ditch Windows 7 for its Eee Pad EP101TC for Google’s Android.

We aren’t sure which version of Android they will use, but the Eee Pad will be launched in early 2011, so we are hoping it will be Android 2.2 or higher. We’ll give you more details when we have them.
