Sony PS3 firmware 3.40 released

Posted in PS3 by Conner Flynn on June 30th, 2010

The Sony PlayStation 3 (PS3) firmware update 3.40 is now available, packed with such features as a Photo Gallery that lets you browse photos from Facebook or Picasa Web Albums and share them with friends on the PlayStation Network.

The Video Editor & Uploader tool can be found on the XMB and lets you edit, save and upload video files stored on the PS3. No news of this firmware causing problems yet, which is always nice. We like smooth upgrades.

If you haven’t gotten it yet, go for it.
