Kindle gets its first waterproof case

Now you can hang out in the pool without worrying about killing your Kindle. M-Edge’s Guardian case will protect your Kindle from water. It’s expensive at $80, but you are protecting a $260 ereader, so it’s worth it.

Wired has reviewed it and they seem to think it’s worth the money, but there are some issues. For one, there’s no access to the power button, and it’s also pretty heavy at 484grams. If those things are okay with you, it comes in black, red and blue.

Try a much less expensive Ziploc bag. Has worked for me and my Kindle for a long time.
