Inventec Dr. Eye Android-powered MID

Posted in MID by Conner Flynn on June 3rd, 2010

It’s not often you come across a gadget that has a name like a Bond villain, but Inventec has done just that, naming its new device Dr. Eye. This new MID opens up like a miniature netbook or notebook, though we aren’t sure why anyone would want a MID like this, what with the popularity of tablet devices.

The device will cost you $400. That’s tablet price territory. Still, if you like it, some specs include: a 4.8-inch touchscreen display, QWERTY keyboard, a 600Mhz Marvell 624 processor, 3G, Wi-Fi, Front-facing webcam, Android 1.6 with the possbility to upgrade to 2.1.
