FCC listings point to new PS3 models |
The PS3 has been around for a while now and the last time it was updated we ended up with the PS3 Slim. Since the thinner and cooler running version of the console turned up, we haven’t seen anything new from Sony on the PS3.
With E3 kicking off next week it appears that there is a chance we may have some announcements from Sony on new PS3 models. A couple new PS3 model numbers have come across the FCC.
Two of the new models are the CECH-2501A and the CECH-2501B with the only difference between the two being HDD size. Also on the FCC table are a pair of new debug PS3 consoles with part number DECH-2500A and DECH-S2500A that different in cosmetics only. New debug consoles point to a hardware change figures Engadget.
