Eken’s M003 Android powered tablet is a follow up to their previously released M001 device and has now started shipping. It’s available for about $230. Some features include: Android 1.6 OS, 600MHz VIA processor, 802.11a/b/g WiFi, 128MB RAM, and an SD card slot for up to 32GB storage.

The Eken M003 also sports an 8 inch touchscreen display with icon or menu drag features and auto rotation, a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels and even stereo speakers. It’s available in pink, black or white. The bezel is a tad large, but it looks like a nice affordable iPad aternative.
