Verizon offering Push-to-Talk “Free for Life” on the BlackBerry Tour 9630

Posted in BlackBerry by Conner Flynn on April 30th, 2010

Verizon’s Push-to-Talk service has been active for weeks now, and many Tour users haven’t added the service, so Verizon has sent out emails to Tour users letting them know they can get the service free for life. The email says that users just need to add the PTT software and service to their device before June 30th and they will get to keep it free for the life of the contract.

I guess PTT isn’t going over as well as they thought. If you’re a Verizon Tour user you should have an email in your inbox soon, but if not, go download the software and get going. It’s free.

Apparently this isn’t true… I called them and they told me first month only… I told them thats not what I heard or had seen but… yet another reason why I hate my BlackBerry Tour more than anything in the world!
