There are lots of people out there who would like to be able to share connectivity from a 3G USB modem between multiple computers. Back during CES Trendnet showed off a new WiFi router that could do just that and promised it this month.

Trendnet has announced that the router is now shipping for $99. The router is called the TEW-655BR3G and can work with modems from AT&T, Sprint, and Verizon. Modems using 3G and 3.5G networks are supported.

The router can share the 3G connection over a 150Mbps wireless connection and has an internal battery good for 2.5 hours per charge. That battery is replaceable for longer run time and an optional DC charger for the car is available.
