MSI GX640 lands in US

MSI talked a bit about its GX640 back at CES. The gaming notebook is finally here and sporting some nice specs for the money. The machine has a 15.4-inch screen and lots more features.

The screen has a resolution of 1680 x 1050 and the GPU used is the Radeon HD5850 with 1GB of GDDR5 RAM. The GPU supports DirectX 11 gaming and the machine has WASD keys that are marked for gaming.

Other features include a Core i5-430M CPU and it runs Windows Home 7 Premium 64-bit OS. 4GB of DDR3 RAM is used and the machine has 500GB of storage. WiFi is built-in and power comes from a 9-cell battery. The GX640 sells for $1099.99.
