Corsair set for IPO

Posted in Corsair by Shane McGlaun on April 27th, 2010

Most of us don’t really think about how large the companies that we commonly buy computer gear from really are. We know firms like Dell and Apple are massive but hardware companies like Corsair and OCZ are relatively small.

Corsair is set to go public with an IPO at an unspecified date. The exact price Corsair will ask for its common stock shares is also unknown. What is known is that the company is looking to raise $86.3 million in funds.

That money will be used to pay for growth and possible acquisitions of new companies and tech. Corsair’s stock will traded under the symbol CRSR on the NASDAQ.
