Sharp unveils two new Aquos Blu-Ray Recorders

Posted in Blu-ray by Conner Flynn on March 28th, 2010

Sharp has released two new Blu-Ray recorders in the BD-HDW55 and BD-HDW53. The BD-HDW55 comes with a 500GB HDD, while the BD-HDW53 comes with a smaller 320GB HDD. Both recorders offer 10x more recording time compared to the usual DR recording method.

The Sharp Aquos BD-HDW55 will give you up to 63-hours of HD video recording and the 50GB Blu-ray disc supports only 6-hour of HD video. We don’t have any info on pricing for these Blu-ray recorders yet, but hopefully we will have more details soon.
