Samsung announces Android-powered Galaxy S phone

Samsung has officially announced its Android-powered Galaxy S smartphone which features a spacious 4-inch Super AMOLED display. Samsung’s Smart Life concept will have the Galaxy S use personal preferences to gather the information online that each user needs or wants, making for a more personal experience.

Nothing on pricing or a release date for the Galaxy S yet, but it should arrive soon. Specs of the Samsung Galaxy S include a 1GHz processor, Bluetooth, 720p HD video playback and a Layar Augmented Reality browser preloaded.
