MSI debuted its U160 netbook back around CES in January, but didn’t offer pricing or availability info for the machine. MSI has now announced that the U160 is officially shipping.

The U160 can be picked up in Fry’s Electronics stores or online from Newegg or Buy.com for $379.99. The netbook claims 15 hours of run time per charge with the MSI Eco mode and 6-cell battery. The machine uses an Intel Atom N450 CPU.

The operating system is Windows 7 Starter and graphics are via Intel GMA3150. The 10-inch LCD has a 1024 x 600 resolution and the netbook has 1GB of RAM and a 160GB HDD. WiFi and Bluetooth are built-in along with a 1.3MP webcam. The netbook comes in gold or black colors.
