Ladder concept is perfect for those with little storage

Posted in Concepts by Shane McGlaun on March 12th, 2010

Most of us need a ladder at some point around the home. If you own or rent a home where you have to change the filters in the AC system, you probably need one. The problem with ladders is that they are bulky and take up lots of space.

A new ladder concept over at Yanko Design is really cool and uses an ingenious design to give a leaning style ladder that breaks down for easy storage and transportation. If you have ever tried to carry a ladder in your car, you know how big an issue transportation is.

The concept uses a ratcheting strap to hold the pieces of the ladder in place when carrying it around and the strap clamps the pieces together when you need to use the ladder. The strap even acts as one of the steps.
