Don’t turn on your PS3 until PSN bug is fixed |
So that PlayStation Network problem that hit late last night is apparently a serious disaster now. Sony is now saying that you shouldn’t use “fat” PS3 models at all, since a clock-related bug might cause some data loss.
Go ahead and use your PS3 slim. It isn’t affected. And that’s why there have been conflicting reports since last night. Sony says it is working to get it fixed in the next 24 hours, but for the moment fat PS3 owners should just go outside and experience real life. Maybe meet a girl, settle down.

8Lol about the having a girl thing, most ps3 owners are 18-25 as far as stats go. This thing they call gaming is not a fad and something that’s going to go away its an evolution of media. I have two fat ps3′s why because my wife loves games like lbp god of war ect. It not as big as some people are putting on about not being able to go online on your console for a day. The world is not going to blow up as some have lead to put on. This is intrusting because they are not down due to psn upgrades though. But bugs like this do happen and usually pass in a short amount of time. I feel bad for those who may have data loss but not to much for those that are waiting to play today. Is it a bad thing yes I can’t play my heavy rain but its off to work for me and my life will go on without PS3 for a day.
the fact is that the problem that people are having isnt to do with not being able to play for a day…its the fact that theres more to the issue than this. like data corruption, system failure, and the probability of having to buy another system because of all this.
PS3 owners should just go outside and experience real life. Maybe meet a girl, settle down. Or maybe those a^%holes over at sony should get their finger out of their assess and fix this bullsh*t or people might start asking for refund. Those guys only think about making money
haahahahaha Shoulda bought an xbox
hhahahaha what a box? f%ck that piece of sh$t, its worse
lol funny thing is people are complaining about corruption and losing data etc … trophies are stored on servers, so can’t be lost… and as for save data there are such things as memory sticks as well as for eveything else lol
@Jim: But what prevents something like this happening to an Xbox? It’s exactly the same setup and is vulnerable to the same thing happening. If you want to avoid it buy a gaming HTPC, I guarantee you there’ll never be a Windows problem that will require your system to be off for a day (and if there is you can boot into Linux and enjoy a nice game of UT2004).
