Sanyo shows off new GH2, CG102, and CD60 camcorders |
Sanyo has been making cameras for a while now that take still shots and digital video. The company also has its fingers in all sorts of other product categories in the consumer electronics market. The company has unveiled three new camcorders including the GH2, CG102, and CG20 camcorders.
The GH2 can record full HD video at 60 fps and take 14MP still shots. It has 5x optical zoon and a 12x double zoom range. It is compatible with SDHC and SDXC memory cards and has a 2.7-inch LCD. It will sell for $229 starting in March. The CG102 can record 1080p video and 14MP still shots. It has the same zoom range as the GH2, same screen size, and many of the same features. It even sells for the same $229 price.
The only difference in the CG102 and the GH2 is the size of the camera, the latter is a traditional style camcorder and the former is a compact style unit. The CG20 will sell for $199 and can record video in up to 1080p and take 10MP still shots. The camera has a 5x optical zoom and a 2.7-inch LCD. It also supports SDHC and SDXC memory cards.
