Everybody is either green already or going green. Samsung is no exception. Their latest EcoGreen F3EG hard drive comes with 2TB of storage space across four 500GB platters. It uses Samsung’s EcoTriangle technology that consists of eco-friendly components, low-power and low-noise operation technology.

It’s a drive that any Greenpeace member would want to use. Some other environmentally friendly features of the Samsung EcoGreen F3EG hard drive include the elimination of a halogen compound and brominated flame retardant from the PCBA, eco-friendly materials used during production and a 0% failure rate in unstable voltage environment tests. It has a 3.0 Gbps SATA interface, Native Command Queuing features and 16MB/32MB buffer memory.

Prices start at $179.99.
