Prototype Windows Phone 7 Series Smartphone from LG

Posted in LG by Conner Flynn on February 28th, 2010

Aaron Woodman, the director of consumer experiences for Microsoft’s mobile division, showed off a prototype of LG’s Windows Phone 7 Series phone over at Engadget. We don’t have many details, but we do know that it’s a QWERTY slider that’s just a tad thicker than the iPhone, with a 5MP camera, and six hardware buttons.

Woodman wouldn’t confirm or deny if Windows Phone 7 Series would support Mac OS, but he mentioned that they are currently discussing it at least. A windows phone supporting Mac OS? Maybe. Sounds like crazy talk.

Well I think it has more than 6 hardware buttons :) considering the keyboard… Looks like 47 or so :)

If you’re a born loser, a windows phone is for you.

Bernie, at least Windows Mobile always included secure email, and didn’t fake a secure connection to sell more phones. Yet another Appletroll… I just made the jump to Android – no more iDon’t for me!

Talk about loosers! I sent my wife a file (*.rtf format) in an e-mail. There was no way for her to open, save or view the document on her IPhone. Just one more reason why people with real business to conduct can’t afford to play with toys like the IPhone.
