Navigon has had a GPS navigation app for the iPhone for a long time now. The company has announced that it is releasing some important updates for the app that add new features users will really like. Among the new features is social networking interaction.

The app can now send location information and ETA data to Twitter or Facebook if desired without interfering with the GPS nav function. The new update also adds new views to the maps using data from NASA.

The NASA data provides a new Panorama View 3D with 3D terrain views. The update also adds personalized routes with Navigon MyRoutes. The new update brings the app to version 1.5.0. The new features can be purchased in app with the 3D feature costing $9.99. The entire app will sell for $89.99.
